I contacted 1-800-PLUMBER +AIR because of a faulty Rheem water heater that was only one month old. Rheem was supposed to replace the thermostat and have a plumber contact me directly to have it installed. Rheem sent the part but decided that I needed to hire a plumber myself. I demanded a referral list of authorized plumbers in my area and 1-800-PLUMBER +AIR was the closest. Rheem also said that they would only pay $175.00 for the install. WHAT!!! No plumber is going to make a house call for only $175.00!!! I called Shannon at 1-800-PLUMBER +AIR and she seemed to have prior experiences with Rheem and volunteered to try to get Rheem to cover their minimum. When I talked to Shannon again she sounded frustrated. Shannon offered to do the install for the minimum imposed by Rheem. That was unexpected and I expressed my appreciation and told her that her offer was more than kind. Shannon and 1-800-PLUMBER +AIR didn’t have to assume this responsibility. It should have been offered by Rheem. I want to also mention Brad, the plumber assigned to me. He did an excellent job and showed his journeyman level of skill. Not only was he thorough, he was pleasant to talk to while he worked. Overall, this ended up going from an aggravating experience to a satisfying one only because of the people at 1-800-PLUMBER +AIR. I would highly recommend 1-800-PLUMBER +AIR to anyone, especially if they are frustrated dealing with a manufacturer like Rheem. Thank you Shannon. Thank you Brad.

We had a well pump blow up on us and although my husband was able to remove the old one and install a new one, it was leaking. We called 1-800-PLUMBER+AIR and they called back quickly, scheduled an appointment time and they arrived on time, quickly assessed and fixed the problem, and we were back in business.
